Unimportant Details

One rainy Saturday when I was 11 my Dad refused to let me watch Naruto on grounds that if he’s “paying for HBO, he’s gonna watch HBO” and forcefed me Robin Williams and George Carlin. I immediately decided I wanted to make people laugh. Thank you Dad.

I proceeded to hone these dreams by interrupting all of my teachers with bad puns and dick jokes for the remaining 7 years of my schooling.

I began making gaming zines on now-dead forums. I started playing music, posting videos, and performing comedy. I produced my first ever show as a fundraiser for a local children’s camp at age 17, where I was also a counsellor who was ironically fired when my boss found my joke notebook.

After a gruelling 2 and a half semesters of comedy school in Chicago (where the real joke was on me, hey-oh!) I dropped out to produce shows at venues like Standup Standup, Playground Theatre, and Comedy Bar. I may not have gotten a degree, any useful connections or a solid education, but I did find two valuable things that have stuck with me for over nine years through thick and thin: my fiance and five figures of student loan debt! (you win some, you lose some).

I began freelancing with Youtubers as a video editor and soon became interested in business and got involved in all the insane nonsense from the list on the top of this page. After years of “digital nomading” (PS: this always means couch surfing) I moved to Toronto with aformentioned female life partner.

When I am not making things or being dead, I am:

Ways to give me attention

I have been lucky enough to do many weird, fun and creative things. I will continue doing those things until I am dead or in hiding due to societal collapse. This website has ways you can give me attention, or even money, and I would very much enjoy receiving one or both of those things.
